Saw that also. I am thinking of waiting for it and hopefully it comes out as 2022 model. Currently driving my a5 SB 2018 and may need a higher ride. Also want to move to electric.

Good plan. I think they may start delivering in 2022 but unlikely they deliver in 2021 to make 2022 year. Apparently the Q4 e tron is supposed to come before and it hasn’t been spied on or properly announced yet

Interesting, looks a little longer than the current Gen Q5 (though the article talks about it being shorter).

Guessing this will be a 2023 model in the US (much like the Q5 PHEV was a 2019 model first in EU, then 2020 in US).

I would imagine the next q5 in all forms will get a little longer. It seems that models are getting a little bigger here and there.

The 2022 Q5 will be the same body style as the 2021. The PHEV just has a slightly larger battery:

I would be very surprised to see a Q5 E-Tron arriving before 2024. I'm still waiting to see a production version of the supposed Q4 E-Tron

The near production interior revealed. Looks very nice, I like the new steering wheel and design language that fuses that etron SUV look with traditional HVAC controls. The augmented reality HUD looks interesting. Excited to see what they do with the Q5 etron interior.

Not sure about touch sensitive buttons on the steering wheel. We'll have to see how it's implemented.
