Airbag Sticker Removal
Has anyone here removed the airbag warning stickers from the sun visors? I did a search and was only able to find a 2 year old post on the A6 forum. I had positive results with 91% isopropyl alcohol as a solvent on another vehicle, but those visors were covered with a smoother, less "textile", vinyl. Thx!

I have alcantara sun visors and started taking off my driver's side many years ago, part of it came off, but the rest did not. I don't know why I did this.....but that's how it stands, half off, never tried the passenger side.

Here is where I purchased my patches to cover up the warning labels. I bought perfect black and charcoal black. One of them was great color match, but I don't remember which one. If I had to guess, it would be the charcoal black. The patch is barely raised, but it is still much better than seeing the warning label. I also added a University of Kentucky logo sticker to them.

Yeah, sorry 'bout that, but the devil made me do it........LOL
But actually, I use a visor organizer and it covers the sticker.. It was tough getting one that I liked, because it seems that the Audi visors are shorter than many other cars, and so the selection was not great.
Good luck whatever way you go........

I had to read this thread because I have a love/hate relationship with stickers.
I hate having stickers on certain things and I love removing them.
As soon as I got home with my new Q5 I took off some Green Vehicle sticker that was at the top of the windscreen (it was because the tires come filled with Nitrogen) and then I had to remove those dumb security stickers from the side windows.
As soon as the weather gets warm, the Q5 badge, 2.0T badge, and the 2 little s-line badges on the front quarter panels are coming off as well (there's a whole thread on debadging your car)
Sun visor stickers..........those are probably heat welded on to the fabric so I wouldn't mess with them.
IMHO there is nothing worse than not getting a sticker 100% off. I'd rather just keep the whole thing right where it is.
Let us know if you do decide to attempt this @firstinsd and how it turns out. I'd be curious to hear.
