I am using Apple Music in Car Play but am not getting album art in the virtual cockpit. This sound right? I just wanted to see if something was wrong or this is normal. Thanks for your help.

I do hit view to make the smaller gauges. Just get a generic orange art. On Bluetooth it show. But not connected with Apple Play?

Sorry, I missed the part where you said you were using CarPlay. I recall that being normal. When in CarPlay, the MMI hands off the display to the Apple device. Album art is not passed.

Yep. That’s what it looks like. Just was curious as the car was picked up today. Found it odd that it wouldn’t show.

There is a lot of oddity when dealing with Apple devices as well as CarPlay. Apple owns the UI and won’t pass anything above and beyond what is required. A future iOS update may rectify this as more and more digital dashboards support album art display and richer media.
