Audi Connect Care Stopped Working
 

I have 2021 Q5e that comes with 10 years of Audi Connect Care, today I could not connect with the Car Using MyAudi App and the last time it was updated was 2 days ago.

When login in to Myaudi.com to see status of account I get the below message, Anyone else have this problem?

Audi connect® is not available on your vehicle

Your Audi does not have the necessary equipment to support Audi connect® services.1

1st step is to put your car in ready mode, then press the volume knob and hold until you see the reboot message on the MMI screen. See what happens with it after.

Didn't help but I didn't see a re-boot message either, the screen turns off first and then if you keep holding it starts up with message "initializing" is that what its supposed to do?

2020 Q5e (previous gen MMI with touchpad) is still working. Likely when they get your gen fixed they'll break mine.

Not sure if it s related but there was an IOS update a couple of days ago also, maybe it's the app that's broken not the car.

MyAudi app on my iPhone still works fine, I won't try to sign out and sign back in though, had too much trouble in the past with that...

FWIW, the app just updated fine for me and I haven't used my car since Friday.

I do still have the message in the app to "Link vehicle" which randomly appeared a few months ago and won't go away. I'm worried if I log out in the car it won't be able to log back in. :o

So after 4 days of not working I noticed that it started working again this evening and the MyAudi app was able to link to the vehicle. It was not working this morning when I tried.

I still have the Link Vehicle Error message that others have but I can see Estimated Mileage, Charge Level and Remote Lock\Un-lock again etc.

I suspect that Audi had some sort of outage with their back end servers that affected some users but not others.

Also when I login to Audiusa.com under subscription status it shows below now.
