Default Audi rings standard

Hey everyone, I just purchased a Q5 premium plus. I have been trying to find a way to turn off the Audi ring lights that project on the street when you open the door. I’ve been looking everywhere and for some reason I can’t find it, I’ve gone to the settings and exterior lighting and I cannot find it for the life of me? Does anyone know how to turn them off? Are they even a standard feature on the q5 bc I can’t even find it as an added accessory on the car sticker. Thanks in advance!

They are not standard equipment. The option is a replacement of standard incandescent lights. They are not separately controllable. You can unplug them, or replace them with OEM incandescent or aftermarket LED versions.

In fact if you like, I would swap my LED lights for your Audi rings lights. Just PM me.

They are called "puddle lights". Normally just LED lights, and you have to pay ~$350 Audi bucks to get the rings instead.

Why would you want to turn them off?
