That's really weird. On my S5, I usually hit the button on the hatch to close and lock, walk away, subconsciously listen for the beep, and it happens every time. There were a few weeks where it seemed flaky, but the car was not locking on purpose because I had my spare key fob in my bag in the trunk and it sensed that. No problems once I removed the fob. It would be annoying if it was inconsistent.

I know. I tried both keys one at a time and present. The audible beep is only there half of the time. And if i keep pressing the lock on the fob or the door handle, it beeps intermittently.

If I have any update, I'll share with you guys since I'm not alone.

When I got my car 3 weeks ago, I noticed this issue immediately and did some search online and that's how I got there.

It didn't appear to me that any of you went to the dealer for a fix.

When locking from trunk there is no beep, but the light flashes.

All doors are are closed because I pressed the remote it beeps.
