Default Brake pedal noise
My 2018 Q5 makes a soft metallic clunk coming from the brake pedal when ever I sharply let off the brake, as if the pivot is banging into something or some kind of bumper is missing. Anybody else experience this? Any idea what it is? By the way, this also happened on a loaner Q5 I had. It just seems so minor that I don’t want to take it to the dealer as yet.

My SQ5 does this too occasionally. I'm not going to bother complaining about it at this point, although it does really annoy my wife.

I am experiencing the same noise in my Audi A3.
Did you ever figure out what the issue is?

There is a fault with the Master Cylinder and Servo. They have replaced the Bosch ones that were exhibiting this problem with later manufactured Girling ones. Mine was done in August and since then no noise.
