Has anyone installed bright reverse LEDs like these?

Do they work well?

Easy to install?

I have not but did something similar for my Audi A5 a long while back replacing say the license plate lights with LED versions. I highly recommend using a plastic pry tool to avoid scratches.

Okay, I took advantage of a 15% off sale an bought them. Installation looked easy enough based on a prior year Q5 video DIY on youtube.

I popped off the little tow eye covers below the light housings, but don't see the screw to loosen the unit as seen in the video.

Anyone have a clue how to remove the rear lower light housings to get access to the reverse lamps?

The bulbs are still in the box. I can't figure out how to install them. You told me there are DIY videos online. There are, but not for the 2018. Perhaps deAutoLED.com could track down the installation instructions. I'm sure this good faith effort would help you sell a lot of bulbs. Thanks.

Agreed. My 2018 is on order, for delivery in early September (he says hopefully...). Was considering these, but will wait until there are instructions for installation on the new Audi's.

It should be very similar to all other Q5 models:

I had already found that video. You would think that installation would be similar, but it is not. There are no visible screws to loosen the light assy. My bulbs are still in the box. HELP! Does someone have the shop manual?
