Q5 2018 Roof Bars' Pre-drilled holes are NOT at the same elevation
Because the pre-drilled holes in roof bars are lower in the back than the front, and cross bars do not adapt for this, a car top carrier box will be pitched upward (nose higher than rear). The same will apply for any item such as a stand-up paddle board utilizing these holes.
More importantly, at high speeds this could seriously effect the vehicle's safety as handling (in particular traction) could be significantly compromised.
Who will start the class-action lawsuit? ... or When is the recall?
I really expected more (a lot more) from German engineering.
