anyone running or is planning to switch to the E85?

If you get the JB4 tune is this all you need to switch to E85? Can you go back an fourth? Do you need to completely empty current fuel before switching?

You do realize your vehicle is not E85 approved, hence the plumbing will corrode over time if you used E85 regularly. Also, your powertrain warranty is voided if you use E85 and your dealer were to pick up on that......

Oh, ok. I thought you were relating the question at JB4 when you said, “If you get the JB4 tune is this all you need to switch to E85?”

Not sure why anyone would run E85 when that is not specified by Audi and commonly knowing that E85 delivers lower mpgs, is hydroscopic, and gums up fuel systems.

I'm not sure why you state this....there are rubber fuel fittings/connections/seals thought the car that are not E85 compatible. If a vehicle is not "FlexFuel" complain with a yellow marked fuel-filler opening, anything over E15 WILL eventually cause damage. Perhaps that won't show up until the second owner or higher mileage, but there is a reason why E85 is not certified for use in this engine.

I find it amazing people think you can put E85 in without issue. The motor has to be specifically outfitted with components that will stand up to the corrosiveness of E85. Heck, even the fuel pumps at the gas station that pump E85 are upgraded over normal nozzles to even dispense the production. There is another discussion about people putting E85 in their RS3/TT RS......those motors are not approved either. These owners are really gonna cause huge issues for second owners in the used market, as these cars have already met the criteria to void the engine warranty all together. WOW.
