I will trade my 2017 Audi SQ5 which I love for a 2019 or newer SQ5 when Audi does these 3 things as in most cases the Newer Generation is better! First get rid of the fake dual exhaust inlets and replace with real exhaust or at least have the exhaust directed through open inlets WHICH CURRENTLY IS A DEAL BREAKER FOR MYSELF! Second offer a Black Optics package like my 2017 SQ5 has as to much chrome or aluminum on the 2018 SQ5 and Third offer some better wheels as I am not a fan of the newer style wheels. I like the look of the entire new SQ5 just think these 3 things need to be addressed before I trade up. Thanks Dave 2017 2017 SQ5 owner!

2 is solved with 2019s, and 3 is solved with BO wheels if that's your thing. 1, better keep dreaming. I'd rather it just be a smooth bumper and no fake exhaust, although the only time I think about it is when I'm on this forum. Not cleaning the pipes is a blessing!

agree, you can convert the exhaust for 200$ with tips and some body work or go with 1-2k and get a new rear end all together. I personally don't get all this anger with such a little item, espacily that it can be easily changed same as the other points.
You don't want to spend the cash that's fine no one is forcing you to get it.

I’ll be frank - the exhaust doesn’t bother me anymore. When I bought it, it was a gripe, I figured an aftermarket solution would come out. Then I realized I never had to clean tips anymore and I realized it was a blessing. If you want more noise, AWE is a good solution. I think you’d enjoy it anyways, plus we’ll see the OEM BO in the wild soon. Might change your mind
