Car and Driver did a Fuel Economy Comparison of the Q5 and SQ5 with its competitors -
Q5 vs Macan, GLC300, Stelvio, XC60 T5 and
SQ5 vs Macan S, F-Pace S, GLC43, Cadallac XT5.
Interesting in that they added their own highway test for the SQ5 and its rivals to replicate typical use - 75mph on freeway using cruise as much as possible. The SQ5 got 28mpg - 4mpg more than the nearest. Also interesting is the Porche got 1mpg more than & all the other cars did worse than the EPA rating. The SQ5 got significantly more - 4mpg. I wonder if this is on purpose by the VW group. Seems like EPA does the EPA thing, but psychologically, I am a happy customer getting more than I expected. In this segment, none of us buy for the mpg, so it just adds to customer satisfaction.
Range is also significantly better for the SQ5: 550 miles.

Which, bold, is a seriously excellent place to be. Retired, so I don't put on a whole lot of local mileage no more, but I think I've picked up on a couple or so on E470. Do a pretty fair lot of eastbound long haul cross country, though, and have seen a sorta fair number...those could have blended in with local, however, what with my aging memory and all.
Who's your local dealer?
Who's your local dealer?
I went through Audi Denver (McDonald Audi) in LIttleton (near Broadway and Arapahoe).

Thanks. Familiar with McDonald. My first thought choice. I take it you were happy with them.

Thanks! And a btw...there's an indie Audi mech shop in Parker. Only know because I asked about at my most trusted Honda/Acura guy and he said they appear to be good/trustworthy. They're in the auto/auto body shops cluster down the street from the Post Office

Have a name for them?
When I had exclusively Toyota and LExus vehicles I always took them to Toy Car Care in Centennial - they were awesome. If I can find a similar shop that services Audi/VW/Porsche that would be ideal.

I don't have a name. As I understand, they're located behind Independent Auto, the Honda/Acura shop, off Dransfeldt.
