Hi guys, have had my new 2018 Q5 PP, with VC for about 3 weeks now and absolutely love it.
I have the MMI all setup and the MMI Connect app does work, but I am unable to SEND any info from the app to the MMI. It receives all the info in the app or online just fine, so I do get the status of location, windows rolled up, etc.
What that means is I can't remotely lock/unlock, send speed alerts, valet alerts or geo fence alerts to the Q5.
I have been on the phone with Audi and they have no idea, reset this, install, reinstall, try iphone, try android. All to no avail.

Anyone else having any issues using the App?

Did you login to the MMI with your username and password? Go to the Audi Connect menu hit the right control button and then Login.

I needed to use the code that came on a plastic tag with my keys to active my Audi Connect. Working pretty well now. I keep checking to make sure she's still resting peacefully in my garage. I don't have kids but I'm guessing this is what it's like to check on your baby monitor.

Where did you use the code that came on a plastic tag? I have the plastic tag, but I don't know where to enter it... :-(

Go to the Audi Connect menu hit the right control button and then Login.

Nope, it just teases you by telling you that your windows are down without letting you do anything about it, and only when you're in the app. There are lots of things that the app could do, but I don't find it to be very useful.
