I sometimes, if she lets me, drive my wife's 2019 SQ5. When I approach the car the mirrors go in automatically, when start the car the mirrors go back out. I suspect this is something connected to the key as the manual says that the individual keys remember some settings. However the manual does not say how to change the settings associated with the keys, any suggestions how to keep the mirrors in what position they are in when I approach the car? Thanks,

The vehicle settings are assigned to whatever key was in proximity when the settings were made. For example, if you're sitting in the car with your key and designate the central locking setting to "mirror fold" when locking the car, they will only unfold when you unlock it. If you want them to fold when your wife locks it, you have to repeat the setting with her key.

I think they unfold when you start the car, not when you lock it.
