Default New 19 SQ5 driver, few questions

Just got my new SQ5 and I love it...Few quick questions

1. Traffic assist is enabled in the system, is there some other button I need to push to enable it?
2. If I am approaching a car fast and do not brake, isnt the car supposed to brake for me?
3. Any way to set the doors to auto lock when you walk away from vehicle

TIA

1. You need to engage it with the stalk, and then set cruise control (it'll prompt you when it's available).
2. It should give you a notification and then brake if you do nothing and there is a risk of collision.
3. No.

By "Traffic assist", do you mean Rear Cross-Traffic Assist? Rear Cross-Traffic Assist (P 124) will be active automatically when you put it in to reverse gear or turn on the parking aid (P 130)
Traffic Jam Assist is enabled with pushing the button on the end of the cruise stalk (P 109 in the manual)

2. If I am approaching a car fast and do not brake, isnt the car supposed to brake for me?
Theoretically yes. I've not been willing to test this to the point of braking lol. I believe I've experienced this when my Audi and and opposing car were coming at each other and both about to make a turn at an intersection.

3. Any way to set the doors to auto lock when you walk away from vehicle
Not as far as I know. ODBEleven has lots of options but I've not seen this one.

I had #2 kick in on the highway. Buddy decided to pass me and then had to brake since traffic wasn't going mach 400. I was covering the brake since I knew he wasn't going to full stop, just reduce speed. Auto-braking kicked in to bring the car down to a lower speed.

But like spindlewood said, you really never want to confirm that stuff works.
