New to Forum / New SQ5 ordered
Hey,
Wanted to say hi to the forum. I’ve been reading for a while (as I went through the final decision making) but now that I have an SQ5 in order - I figured I would make my lurking official. We ordered a 2018 SQ5 Technik (Canadian Vehicle) with 21’ wheels and carbon atlas inlays. We ordered the Monsoon Grey with black interior and should see the vehicle in week 2 or 3 of June. Looking forward to hearing more about the vehicle and being a part of the forum. |

Just got notification that it arrived at last week and there is a stop order on the vehicle. There is an issue with the production run and a recall with the Brakes. Now we wait... hopefully it's a quick repair.

How did you receive notifications? You our can track the status? |
The Dealer called me as I was reaching out to get the VIN for insurance. They've given us a loaner A4 for the duration of the recall. I'll see if I can get more details when I get the loaner.

@crazyfast82 which build week was your car built in? Interesting to hear about the recall. My SQ5 has been held in Germany for 2 weeks and possibly 2 more on route to the UK. Dealer tells me it’s a shipping back log but seems a bit of a coincidence based on what you’re saying. |

Ok, so that’s 2 weeks after ours. How much did your dealer tell you about this recall? Was it certain build weeks? A bad parts batch? |
