Default New MyAudi App vs. MMI Connect

It looks like the MMI Connect App is gone and had been replaced by the new MyAudi App. Only problem is it won't let me log in. Just wondering if anyone else has had success and if the new app is any good.

I was able to log in. It looks like there is a "forget password" option you might try. What I am curious about is if there is anything in the app that is functional if I have let my Audi Connect expire. It looks like lock / unlock might be available. Possibly Amazon Music . Not sure why anyone would use "Mileage Tracker." Doesn't look like much else there for me.

You may be experiencing the same problems as me. Since Audi pulled the MMI Connect app which worked for me, I have only been able to use MyAudi on my phone (Android) via WiFi and not via cellular (T-Mobile). This has been going on for about a month and I have a case open with Audi. So far, no resolution. From a connectivity perspective, it is clear that the Audi servers are not reachable by my phone from the cellular network but are via every other non-cellular network I have tried. Should be a pretty straightforward fix however one that has not been forthcoming.

I thought "My audi" and "audi connect" are two different things. I have a seperate account for each of them. (although my audi connect just expired)

Phone app, ribeye...

MMI Connect to MyAudi. Open MMI Connect and follow the steps to download and install MyAudi.

If you let your Audi Connect Prime expire, you will also lose several other things like Google Earth integration in your maps, real time traffic info with route guidance, remote lock/unlock, etc. Info is here (bottom of page). https://www.audiusa.com/technology/i...e/audi-connect
Note: I have read from others that they have successfully replaced SIM card and were able to get same data service using their own wireless cell providers SIM card. Have to first look at your car’s model to see if it even has a removable SIM card on same link page.

Remote lock/unlock is free and doesn't require an Audi Connect subscription.

It is part of Audi Connect CARE, but you are correct, Audi Connect Care is free and doesn’t require a subscription (at least until 2021). It is not part of Audi Connect Prime or Plus. Thanks for the correction.
