Yeah....I'm kinda psyched IF this will let me lower the car at will while not affecting any of the standard drive modes. Video is in german so at this point not really sure....

The way the controller works is that it allows you with a smartphone app to change the height of each drive select mode individually and the controller will remember that height each time you select the individual drive select modes. This means if you want the dynamic drive select mode to be lower than it is from the factory you can set that with the app and every time you select dynamic the car will go that height you've set. You can always go back into the app and change the height setting any time for any of the drive select modes. If you want to leave one, two or more of the drive select modes at factory ride height you can. You can also lift settings if you like, super configurable. You don't need to use the smartphone app unless you want to change the set ride height in a drive select mode or if you want to use the show mode. That does mean that you cannot make the individual drive select mode into a new unique suspension setting. This controller does not add new drive select modes, it alters existing drive select suspension modes. You have the choice of altering the dynamic lower, raising the offroad and leaving all others at factory ride heights. If you change the ride height setting in dynamic (-10mm) with this module whenever dynamic is selected, whether by you or by the Auto drive select mode (or individual mode) the car will always be -10mm.
For what you want to do you can use the app quickly to change the ride height on dynamic. If you were driving and decided to take a little twistier route, set car to dynamic (or use individual with suspension in dynamic), open the air suspension controller app on your phone (obviously while stopped for safety), use the roller to set -10mm (or whatever you prefer) and go for it. When you are done with the twisties and want dynamic mode at stock height pop open the app and set the rollers to zero. If you select a lowered ride height for the auto drive select mode then whatever suspension mode the car decides to use for your current driving style will be lowered by the amount you set in the app. If the car selects dynamic it will be lowered by your specific amount, if the car selects comfort it will be lowered by your specific amount, etc. With the ride height clearance that these models already have -10mm on dynamic as a setting I can't imagine would ever cause any issue with clearance and definitely not with ride. You can then leave comfort alone and lift the offroad setting for tons of clearance if you like. Cheers, |

Does anyone have any drive height pictures and measurements? Just wondering if people are using this mainly for the show mode? I drive on the dynamic suspension setting with it at the lowest. I want to drive it lower and am concerned about ride quality. Anyone have some insight?

Adding the Wife's daily to the list of SQ5's with this module. Loving it! Fairly conservative (I think 35/35 on Dynamic). I'm going to try bringing it to 40-42 front and back this weekend.

The installation is not too hard. The car needs to be up in the air, you fit two harnesses to the level sensors to two separate modules that you tuck under the car and secure. Then at the rear you will push two wires into the car through a grommet and tap into the CAN signal for the system. If you are familiar with running wiring and minor to medium repairs this should not be too hard for you to do at home. Cheers, |

Since this has been out for a year now, is there any long term feedback - i.e. bottoming out, alignment issues, service problems, dealer issues, etc.?

I know it's always harder to swallow what a seller of a product says as a review, but so far I have not had a customer come back with a mechanical or air suspension components failure while using a CETE module yet. No complaints about dealerships hassling customers over using the modules. Alignment really is only an issue for people who lower well beyond an inch and stay in that mode all the time since these cars are meant to move up and down a reasonable range already. Bottoming out would only be an issue with running the lowest drive select mode with a fair amount of added lowering with the module, obviously not recommended to run like that for any period of time.
I've been selling them for just nearly 4 years with hundreds of air suspension controllers sold in mainly North America as a data point. These modules were popular worldwide previous to the 4 years or so I've been selling them here and I've not see anything on forums or groups about issues worldwide either. Generally people tend to write reviews of products that don't work well or cause issues so tough to find good reviews to point to but easy to say there aren't many, if any, bad reviews out there after installation and use. Just want to bump this thread to ensure no one is stuck waiting on CETE products in North America.
Europrice distributes all of the CETE products in North America. When you purchase from a North American company the CETE product will flow through Europrice. It's come to my attention a North American CETE reseller has unfortunately been making their customers wait months on CETE products when the products are readily available either to drop ship from here or be sent to the reseller for customer purchases. I am not sure the reasoning for not fulfilling their customer's orders but for anyone that is being told there is a long wait on CETE items this is not correct or true.
