After all that, let me bump this request. I would like the reminder to be every 5k, not the standard 10k. If someone knows how I would be thrilled. Thanks!!

A basic question.. I got the oBD11 device, but was wondering, does making any changes cause problems when Servicing the car. I have leased the car, so wanted to know if making changes using OBD2 will lead to pro

If you make a change will it impact the warranty?

I just had my car serviced for the 10K miles, and they did not say anything. One of my changes was the gear number display, which would be an obvious change while they are test driving the car.

They wouldn't test drive your car at a 10K Service unless you identified an area of concern that necessitated it.

Additionally, what would Audi say to you and why? It's your car. The only time Audi would ever raise an issue over an owner modification is if there was a warranty claim they feel should be voided as a DIRECT result of your modification.

Audi will tell you that oil changing notifications are 'Condition Based' and not Distance based. No way to my knowledge to alter this.

Ok, I’ll just hang my own reminder in the garage like I’ve done in the past with the part numbers, torque specs and the mileage to do it.
