oh and I'm glad it's not just me that feels the need for some storage... just weird that they couldn't find a way to give us some space under the trunk floor board like every other car LOL...

It works for anything. Set the PSI (takes 5 seconds) and it’ll run until it gets to that PSI and cut off. The cord is long enough to reach all tires. Not so sure if the one in the trunk reaches far enough (never knew it was there). Had this for a few years and works great

In the cubby on the right side of the trunk.

I see this was rated the most on amazon, will give this one a shot. The reason I ask is because some goes beyond 120w to function where in the manual it states not to exceed that wattage. Good to know u have it will give this one a shot thanks

seems strange to me if they give us a compressor, that it wouldn't reach all tires but then again, who knows LOL... you could be right as it could be only for inflating the spare tire, in which case it might be worth getting another one or replacing that one since storage space is at such a premium LOL

It reaches all the tires fine. After using it 3 times, I've decided i will keep it only for emergencies and have one in the garage for regular adjustments. It's a hassle to take out liner and floor piece to get to the stored one. Plus I don't know about its longevity. I will get an AC / DC model so I don't risk blowing Audi fuses like some of the higher powered compressor models

I was thinking the same, at least a small one that can easily plug into an outlet in the garage... the other part of the hassle is having to plug it into a cigarette lighter which is unnecessary if in the garage... Guess I'll leave the audi one there for emergency and just buy the ac/dc one for the house.. seems to make the most sense for convenience....

I actually just ordered one from Amazon... not the cheapest or most portable, however it has both 12v and 120v and it's fast when plugged into 120v (garage or any outlet) ... For me, this can stay in the garage most of the time to inflate bikes, car tires, *****, etc. and if needed it is portable and go in car. It's kind of big for that (especially with our non existent storage space) however I don't think it's necessary to have it in the car for day to day given that we have one already for emergency spare or plug... that along with audi roadside and AAA should keep me covered and this baby can stay in the garage plugged into the wall. perhaps on a long trip I'll throw it in the back as it's likely faster than the audi one , although I've never tested the audi one.
in my wife's GLC, I did throw a really small one in the back that works great, however the GLC has a ton of storage under the floor board as there is no spare (run flats)... guess it's not really needed with run flats but just in case it needs a little air.

I'll let you guys know how this one works out once I get it, heres the link:

Suggest you look at VIAIR for portable solutions. More expensive than most but the quality it top.

I use this - hooks directly up to the battery though - https://www.viaircorp.com/portables/400p-auto

This graphic can help you decide - https://www.viaircorp.com/4x4-off-ro...del-portables/
