Q5 - 20 inch wheels experiences?
Hi, I'm wondering what people's experience is driving a Q5 with the 20 inch wheels (all season tires) versus 19 inch. I'm looking at the 2018 model. I was only looking for the 19 inch wheels but the only one available with the configuration I want has the 20 inch wheels. Dealer says I'll barely notice the difference and there is no down side other than the price. Can anyone weigh in based on their experience?

While I can't compare to other Q5 wheel sizes, I have 20" and couldn't be happier with the ride. Aside from the interior, the first thing I noticed when we test drove our Q5 was how it seemed to glide down the road.
Probably apples and oranges, but my wife's Lexus has 19" wheels, and it doesn't seem to handle the potholes and rough patches nearly as well.

While we have only had our Q5 a couple of weeks, we do drive in Denver traffic (pothole capital of the US) and have to travel on gravel roads extensively....in both cases we have hardly felt the road!

Thats reassuring to hear. I initially wanted to stick with a P+ with 18's because I was concerned with the ride on 20's.
Ended up ordering a prestige instead. Keeping my fingers crossed that the ride would be awesome despite the bad roads in socal.

You chose well. Trust me. Ride is great, car is quiet.

Are you happy with the ride on 20's? I was looking into getting a Premium+ with 19's, but I can get a Prestige for a couple of thousand more. The only downside (for me) was the 20's
