Default Q5 real world mileage

What are you all getting for Q5 city and highway real world mileages? I'm curious what this beast gets mostly on the highway.

I don't do any city driving, but suburbs and road-trips after 13100 miles I consistently get 30mpg on average

Normal (not babying the throttle or driving aggressively) city driving Los Angeles/Orange County 19-20 MPG. No highway trips. 34 psi all around cold.

We have just over 3,500 miles on ours and mileage to date is 30.5, mostly highway at 70-80 mph. I have seen 36 mpg when driving at a steady 70 on a level road. Much better than our prior Q5, which was a V6.

Q5 new in july '17. Currently 14,000 miles. Mixed driving, with the car in Auto, and the occasional foray into Dynamic. Mostly mixed city/open driving. Averaging about 30. In the winter months I averaged about 28. I check mileage every fillup with a calculator. Have found that the Audi computer is optimistic by about 2 - 3.3%.

Mine is a July 2017 Q5 with 18,000 miles. I am averaging about 18.0 mpg, mostly city driving, computed using a calculator and gas pump MPG. I've been babying the car the last few fill-ups (in auto mode for the engine/trans). This seems super low compared to the car's rated 23 city mpg. Any ideas?

Check your calculator?? (Sorry 'bout that..sometimes a wise guy). Seriously, though, if you go to the Fuelly site and check the 2018 Q5, I think you'll find that 18 is on the very low side. My 28 - 30 is on the high side. But I live in New England where we have these 10 to 20 mile open spaces where we can get up to 50mph for many stretches. And I am gentle on the gas pedal and the brake. Also, when I get into city/town, I do like the auto stop feature and so "use" it when I get to lights.
As far as any ideas, I would say first off check your speedometer/odometer and see that it is accurate. That's a once-in-a-blue moon problem, but it does happen. First thing I always do with a new car.

I drive to and from a place about 75 miles away most weekends on a very wide open interstate with cruise typically set at 82--average for that is typically 28-29 mpg, which I think is pretty good for that speed

my "long term" in dash say 19.5 however I don't believe that as it seems I'm always putting gas... will have to do an actual miles divided by gallons test to see what it really is... that method doesn't lie.
my short term one today say 16 somehow but I think that one changes often depending on that drive....
I highly doubt anyone will see much more than 20 combined, which is in line with the manufacturer ratings... if your long term shows more than that it could only really be all highway... and besides, how do you drive all day without spooling up that turbo lol... smiles per gallon over miles per gallon? all joking aside, my last car only got 15 combined so I'm already 25% higher at 20 lol...
