Default rough low / idle at slow speeds

  1. I have a brand new 2019 Q5 premium plus with 1200 miles on it. With start stop disabled my q5 has a rough / low idle when in slow traffic. The engine almost seems like it is going to go into stop/stop when coming to a stop in traffic.
I ran a scanner and there are no codes that can be found.
    Anyone else have similar problem?

Is this rough low idle normal or is there a fix?

Is this like a stumble when you roll to a stop, or does it continue to do it as you sit at a light?
My car stumbles when it come to a stop about 40% of the time. I hate it. The dealer could not duplicate it and others have said here that it is a characteristic of a duel clutch. I hate it. If I had noticed it when I test drove the car, I would not have purchased a Q5.

Same problem my car has. A lot of others here as well. But then again, some people don't have the issue.I am puzzled.
It almost feels like the stop start feature is on when it is not.

Exactly what I have told the dealErships, “feels like start/stop is on” even though I have turned it off

the Audi group on Facebook says a should bring it in and Request audi Transmission Adaptive Learning and Reset .

” a common issue with B8/8.5 models. (Jerky downshifts), not sure about the newer models (had a 2020 loaner and didn’t experience it at all) Took it in for Audi Transmission Adaptive Learning and Reset under warranty. Issue has for the most part been resolved.

The service advisor knew about it as he’d heard about similar issues from other Q5 owners.”

Thanks for that. I will see if the dealer will do that when I bring it in for the fender recall.

I will, but it probably won’t be until the first of the year unless I can squeeze it in sooner.
Thanks again for the info.
