SQ5 vs Q5 TDI?
Hi all,
I'm about to return a US leased 2015 Q5 TDI in a few months, and wanted to see if anyone has real life comparisons between an SQ5 and the Q5 TDIs? I test drove the 2018 Q5 2.0 and was not impressed with the power levels, coming from a TDI. Is the SQ5 comparable in driving experience/power? Thinking of pulling the trigger for the 2018 SQ5.
Thanks!

The big difference is the ride comfort - the TDi's ride is sublime - just about perfect for the car's mission, IMO. The SQ5 certainly won't ride as smoothly, but of course the tradeoff is better handling.
If we end up with a buyback on our TDi, the SQ5 is the logical next step, but I'd miss the efficiency and the ride...

The SQ5 is of course ultimately faster than the TDi, but the power delivery of the 2 engines is quite different, and in around-town part-throttle driving, the TDi may feel slightly more responsive. (70+ more lb. ft. of torque and all available from lower rpm)
