Hello all ,

I ordered a Q5 sport from my dealer in Melbourne , Victoria , Australia back in late January this year , i was issued the Vin last week when it was built . Does anybody know how to track the voyage to Melbourne in Australia using the Vin number as a reference ? the vehicle was built in Mexico on Friday last week .

In the USA, the dealer has access to that information and should get you the estimated ship date, arrival date and when the dealer should receive it.

Thank you for your reply Weebl , unfortunately I live in Australia and the dealers do not have the same service that you mention in your post .

I saw that but figured that you.may not have asked.
I could see it being on a ship a month before it hits Australia and another week if you are not the first port. It will get there eventually and too bad they won't help you since you pay a hefty premium

Thank you for the assistance Weebl , i did previously purchase a 2016 SQ5 - my current car and at that time i could track the voyage on the shipping line site , that function has since been removed .

I did a factory order for my SQ5 and received it (I'm in Perth) 5 or 6 months ago. Search this section of the forum for instructions on how to track the shipping using a couple of different sites. I did this and was able to track the car all the way from Mexico to Perth.
