Default TSB 51G2

Anyone had their dealer mention about TSB 51G2?

Went to the dealership and was told they have to update software for the lift gate.

Searched Google and couldn't find anything. Just wanted to know if anyone had this done as well and what's it all about.

Just got a call from the dealer saying the same thing but without any detail on what the hatch issue is.

Well the dealer didn't know what the update actually fixed. But it does look like it changed the behavior of the side mirror tilt functionality. Instead of pointing down now it actually points more towards the side of the car

I haven't noticed this yet. When does it tilt more towards the side of the car?

I was under the impression the update was for the tailgate.

When you go into reverse. Used to be it just tilted down (on the passenger side where I have it set). Now instead of tilting down it tilts in without the downward action.

Don’t you adjust the tilt and it memorizes it? Or am I dreaming?

Glad I’m not crazy 😂

Put it in reverse and once the mirror tilts, adjust it IIRC

Yep, I'm an idiot. Didn't even think to try adjusting it .
