Default VRT vs JB4

I know someone on the site is running the JB4? But I found the VRT tune and it states a 92 hp gain vs the 50 from JB4.

looking for some extra power and not sure what is the better choice. Also if there is a different company I should look at plastic let me know

I've got the JB4 - I'm going to get a Dyno before I get rid of the 2018 (and get my 2019) to see the real gains hopefully. The butt dyno does can tell a difference however

Can you please tell us why you decided with the RT over the JB4? Have you also seen increased MPG when driving normally as they claimed 20% + from stock. How it the overall feeling?

You mean JB4 over RT? I had the JB on my old BMW and liked it, figure I try it on the Audi too. I’m not too concerned about gas mileage and drive in Dynamic-S most of the time anyways - but next road trip I’ll let you know.

With my DTUK piggyback I often get the 20%...even towing. The problem is keeping your foot off the throttle. After a few months I got that out of my system before getting a ticket. Comfort mode seems to give the best economy. The power increase is seldom needed around town (unless you get a stoplight race). Tthe passing power on the highway is awesome, it pulls a lot harder 50 and up.

I think it’s rated at 410. Mileage depends a lot on the speed I drive. At higher speeds you don’t get 20% more like 5-10. Cruising at 50-60 the best I got was a little over 33 for a 230 mile trip in the mountains. I almost always beat 20 in the city, have seen 24. That’s by the car calc. that is about 4% high to actual. It may be a little better now after a good break-in. It was something I watched out of curiosity, don’t pay much attention now.

v is for Vivid the brand and mane for the product. If you just take RT that’s racing tuner with no collaboration to one specific product.

Just ST want to make sure we are all on the save page and speak to the same product.
