And The Winner Is...

Took a quick test-drive of the new Q5 the other day (2.0T).
It's very impressive - I'd buy one in a heartbeat if our '15 TDi is eventually bought back.
I had previously driven the GLC, and prior to my Q5 drive, thought it was likely the best in its class, but the Q5 just pips it in pretty much every way.

I seriously considered the three SUVs featured in this video, in addition to the Porsche Macan, before settling on a 2018 Q5. Generally speaking, I agree with all the points this review makes about these vehicles. For me, the weak point of the comparison is that the Mercedes GLC the reviewer chose is the AMG 43 version; for comparison's sake it should have been a GLC 300. Also, I would have liked to have seen gasoline versions of the Audi and Jaguar tested.
For really in depth video reviews of vehicles like these (including variations within a particular model), I recommend "Autogefuehl" on YouTube. Although vehicles are not compared head-to-head at this site, during a review, the reviewer will occasionally refer, in a comparative way, to similar vehicles he has already tested.
