2006 Audi Q7 TDI white smoke

Hi there experts. I need help with my 2006 audi q7 3.0 tdi. Lots of white smoke coming out of my exhaust. Recently i sent it the my local workshop but they could not find what is the fault. They replaced the oil seperator valve, diesel injectors working fine and turbo working fine. Other than that, my reverse camera is not working, A/C is not working, cd changer not working.

I read online, it could possibly be a weak battery. I changed my battery but did not recode it.

I bought a vag401 scanner and found 4 fault codes

you replaced the battery without getting it tested?
If its not the same CCA and AGM if it was agm etc than the one you had you just created even more problems to come.
The voltage regulator isnt going to have any idea you replaced the battery without changing the code to ANYTHING else, so its not going to do anything different, if its a different CCA then its not going to charge it fully and makes things much worse.

now for the white smoke,
Is there too much oil in the engine?
Did this shop do a compression test???? or they just checked for codes cuz that's exactly what a real mechanic is going to check for an engine thats burning oil or worse coolant... sarcasm.
Is your coolant low?
Did the shop check your sparkplugs for signs of burning oil or coolant in each cylinder??? this would be part of the compression test since that requires pulling each plug...

also....
have you checked the spare tire area for water??? being a 2006 your roof drain rear right almost 100% have to be leaking onto the boss amp by now unless someone fixed it.

For the battery, recode it and then clear faults. Is the white smoke all the time at all engine temps? How does it feel? Power? Acceleration? Smooth or rough? Abnormal sounds?

Thank you very much for reply. I have sent my car to another workshop. I will definitely give these points to the mechanics there to have a look. Tomorrow they will do a compression test.
As for leaking, we found the front passenger was wet jist under the floor mat. Will have a look at the spare tire area

The white smoke is all the time. Lots of it too. Temp normal at all time. I cant really tell the difference of power and acceleration. Felt the same to me.

But just i about to send the car to the workshop, this warning came out.

I can only drive rpm below 1500.

The mechanics suspects the smoke might it be because of the egr or cat being that the car is an old car. The egr and cat might be very dirty. The also mentioned it could be worn piston rings.

Forgot to mention, the white smoke has diesel smell to it.

Check the diesel particulate filter, it may be clogged or something, try to clean it. Are you having oil level warnings?
