2010 3.6 Bluetooth Module location
Hello
Hope the forum is doing well, I am having a MOST issue with my MY2010 Q7. I am trying to troubleshoot each component and for the life of me I cannot find the BT module. Per ALLDATA it is under the passenger seat, but it is not. The only thing I see there is an onboard supply module. Per ALLDATA the BT module is more towards the back seat under the carpet, but not in my car. All I have there is a large piece of foam where the BT module should be per ALLDATA. (yes BT worked till the system decided to shut down on me). So far I have checked the CD player (dash), satellite receiver modue (rear right) for red blinking light in the fiber optics and I have nothing there.... so I am trying to find the BT module, am I missing any other modules I need to test ALLDATA is really not helpful. Also, anyone know the sequence in which these modules work?
Thanks in advance and sorry for the length.

FOR THOSE OF YOU INTERESTED.........
The bluetooth module is part of the CD player with the SD cards (center console) 2010 and above MKI). If this is bad then there is no way to bypass the MOST fiber optic loop to get the screen to work, the unit would need to be repaired or replaced. I am sending my unit to HiTech Electronic services in Van Nuys, CA. $450 for repair... I am sure it would be twice that at the stealership... at least.
