My Q7 has the glovebox socket for an AMI adaptor. The usb adaptor charges my iPhone 8 but will not play any music. Tried a lightning connector adaptor both yellow and white tips, source list changes against AMI to "not supported".
Phone will bluetooth music to the car and play whatever is playing at that time from the phone but will not allow car to take control of the phone to browse music or choose different album or playlist.
Any ideas how to get the car to take control of the phone either via bluetooth or via an AMI adaptor
