Hello. I'm new to this forum. So thanks in advance for any replies! I will be test driving the above vehicle tomorrow. Any concerns about this vehicle? What questions should I be asking? Thanks!

Make sure the MMI buttons all work well, and no water/wetness in the spare tire area or under the front floor mats..
Also if it has a tow prep, make sure the wiring exists for the tow module if you have any intentions of towing.

Thanks for the reply, dreadlocks. I just test drove it a couple hours ago. There was significant road noise whether going 30mph or 80mph. The salesman thought it was due to the tires. So they are going to put new tires on and I'm going to come back Monday. I hope that is the reason for the noise. I will also check out what you suggested as well. How can I confirm the navigation is up to date? Thanks.

These things eat tires up fast; especially if it has the 21's on it.. 15k-20k is the normal life for most tires you can put on it.

Your talking about the T-Mobile Audi Connect, 2013 and older is now stuck on 2G because TMobile changed their 3G frequencies.
2014-2015 have updated 3G Modems for the new bands, but they wont upgrade your old cellular modem anymore (and they only did it for original owners still under warranty) so thats basically that.

its hardware change and a software update, and they wont sell you the hardware or update the software.. 4G was never an option for these vehicles.
This is what you get for buying a used car with a bunch of built in cellular tech; its already behind the times.. If you want 3G so bad buy a 2014 or 2015MY, but one day those too will stop working.. meh.

Thanks for the info. Just so I'm clear, there is a SIM card that I can remove, I can't update the SIM card? There are also 2 ad card slots. Those are empty. What do I use those for?

A SIM card is only as capable as the phone its plugged into, the hardware in the vehicle cannot communicate on T-Mobile's NEW 3G Frequencies; as of like January this year they shut em all down and the only thing they can connect with is 2G.. Requires a whole new Cellular modem be installed, but nobody will do it..
The two memory card slots are for storing music/video onto; when we go on a big road trip I'll pull the card out of my wife's car and stick it in the other slot so she has all her music too.
