Can you post pictures? Were they easy to install?

Don't go and get running boards yet. I'm in the process of putting on a set that you all are going to want.

Anyone has experience with ROMIK-12901118? I think it's the black ones. Is it easy to install it?

I installed that particular model (black, in fact) a couple years ago on my 2013 Q7 Prestige (non S-line). HIGHLY RECOMMEND the 2-inch extensions. One can't rely on the round tubing that frames the board to provide a reliable foothold, so the extensions bring out the flat part more, and they didn't stick out like a sore thumb. It took me about a couple hours to install by myself only 'cause I'm meticulous. I found the torque wrench values a little high, though.

Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of it since I just traded it in for a new 2015 Q7 Sport Limited Release onto which I installed the Romik RAL boards since those are the only ones compatible with S-line models (pictured below).

Not me. Don't like them, would never install them.

yeah, I did notice that most pictures showing the running boards not protruding out enough. and seems romik is the only one that has an 2 inch extension. I am going to go for it I think. two questions. will black look good on Daytona gray? two, did you need to jack the car up or put it on a lift to install the boards? or there is enough clearance to do it while the car sitting on the ground?

funny, that's the exact color of my previous Q7 (daytona gray with black Romik RB series running boards)! i was able to install without lifting/jacking/ramping the vehicle. enjoy!
