2013 Q7 TDI fuel system/carbon build up issues
Hello, I have a 2013 Q7 TDI. Bought new Aug/sep 2013, approx 6 months later (Dec) and 8,000 miles in they had to replace the fuel system. Today, just over 2 years owning it, and now have 52,000 on it. 3 weeks ago, pulled up to stop light, stopped, stepped on gas to go and engine had shut off. No warning lights, radio/Nav everything else working. Turned off, restarted. did it again two days later. took it to dealer, they drove 70+ miles never happened again. Take car back and three days later does it again. Take it back to dealer, dealer drives over 200 miles, nothing. I test drive with tech (obviously not going to happen) but tech realizes fuel system had been replaced. Kept it another day and last Friday finally shut down on them. Called today to say there is carbon build up in the intake manifold for some reason and they will need to clean it and replace fuel filter.
Thoughts anyone? Is this a normal problem with TDI or q7 in general?
Thanks,

The common Fuel rail was design to fix this problem. It injects up to 30,000 PSI. With a new fuel filter at every 20,000 miles also suppose to prevent this.
Now there is bad diesel under 40 creatine which will cause this carbon build up. The tier one diesel stores will have a higher creatine level for are cars. example shell, chevron about 43 and up.
