Just completed a buyback on our 2010 Sline TDI, and got a "fixed" 2014 Q7 Prestige TDI.
There is a few degrees of play in the steering that I'm taking it into the dealer to fix next week.
Before I have to take anyone's(or worse a dealer's) word for it I was hoping someone here might have some insight to share from experience.
Has anyone else had to solve for freeplay in the steering on their Q7s? Our last one had 108k mikes and zero play, this one has it with only 50k miles.

We did the same. Had a 2011 bought back, replaced it with a fixed 2015. Our 2015 had 32,000 miles on it when we got it 16 months ago. The 11 that it replaced had 120,000 miles on it. Steering and handling is identical. No steering play on either one. I was really pleased how tight and crisp our 2011 stayed through 120,000 miles. Hoping this 2015 will do the same.
