2014 Q7 S Line AC issues
I have the above vehicle with 42,000 miles on it. I have replaced the fan motor once. Friday the AC started pumping warm air. Saturday, Audi Naples diagnosed a faulty AC Pressure Switch, replace it and performed an evac / recharge. Over $600.00. After a good 10 miles of driving on Sunday it failed again. Today I am told that because they fixed the switch they now know it is also the rear evaporater. That will be an additional $1,000. Seems one diagnosis is wrong. Thoughts.

Well what failed again? the ac pressure switch? are they saying the ac pressure switch had a leak type of failure or a failure that it couldnt read pressure anymore?
If it was failing to read pressure then they shafted you hard core on evap/recharge cuz changing that switch doesnt require any of that...
so now they say the rear evap is leaking?
I would say the switch was fine and the rear evap was the issue. they shouldnt charge you an evap/recharge again since the first time was bogus.
Imagine paying a shop $600 to suck out your coolant then putting your own coolant back in and smiling at you like they did you a favor lol. that is standard practice.
Ah yeah ok so they also sucked out all the air to make a vacuum then put your own fluid back in.
but anyhow if you have a leak, then they actually gave you coolant, but there is no way that switch was faulty while the rear evap was leaking.
