I know it suck having the crossmember blocking the drain plug. On mine, I used a wide open oil pan, which I bought for 3 bucks. I did loose the drain plug little by little to prevent a high oil splash and spill. In the end it was a clean oil change except for the crossmember.

Mr. Patterson, I have drained the oil. I am ready to change the oil filter. I just need to double check with you whether I am looking at the correct oil filter housing in red and crankcase cap in yellow in the picture attached. Does the oil filter housing open clockwise? Thank you.

Hi. Everyone. Im looking for help on the oring. I have the same vehicle. But found a minor oil drip below the housing after driving. I have photo attached. Hope someone can tell me if the oring at the correct position.
