I purchased a new 2015 Q7 in December 2015. At about 285 miles the transmission started slipping so I took it in to the dealership, they could'nt replicate the problem and they gave me the vehicle back after a week. The trans slipped everyday for two weeks until it got stuck in 3rd gear and I had to pull over on the interstate and turn the car off.

I took it back to the dealership and a fault code on the trans came up this time. All said in done they had the vehicle for 2.5 more weeks and the Q7 needed a new transmission.

I get that it was Audi's fault not the dealership and after calling Audi of America they instructed the Audi dealership to send me a check for one month worth of a vehicle payment.

AoA was great to work with and I'm just posting this as an FYI for those who have had a vehicle worked on under warranty for so long and felt short changed for paying for a car that you didn't drive for a month.

Wow, I'm glad your Q7 is running fine again, did they ever say what caused the transmission to fail?

Strange that it took that long since I had the PDK on my Carrera S replaced in a few days.
