Default 2015 Q7 iPhone/USB port

Hi,

I'm new to Audi and especially the Q7 but not to german cars I own a 93 Corrado and a 2017 Passat. We just bought a 2015 TDI and I'm trying to figure out how/ where we can plug our phone in. Is there not a USB port built into the car? is there an adapter I need to buy? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Colby

It is in the glove box, but you will likely need an adapter cable. Mine came with an old Apple style cable.

Here is a link for the USB input adapter. https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...er/4f0051510q/

Ah... Thank you! I guess I'll need to figure out how to route a cable from the glovebox to where the little tray under the climate control area.

The cables are ridiculously short, and the cable doesn't easily come out of the glove box.
I use Bluetooth for audio, and a separate charger that plugs in to the 12V power ("cigarette lighter").

Bluetooth, or Copy Music to internal HDD or SD Card, all 3 options are better than a wired MMI connection.
