Which year Q7? New ones come with 4 year/50k warranties. So you're essentially doubling it for an additional $67/month. Doubt you'd use it for at least the first 5 years, but if something goes south later in the Q's life, you'll be glad you have it
I guess it all depends if you plan on keeping the car for 8 years...

Paying $4100 for that warranty is the same as betting your new car will require expensive repairs costing more than $4100.
Life is full of risk. We deal with risk every day. Buying a warranty is buying insurance which is paying someone else to take the risk for us. An alternative plan might be to put that amount of money in a savings account set aside for car repairs only.
If a warranty of my Audi could be purchased for $1000 or maybe $1500 I would have bought one. I'm not willing to pay $4000 to extend the life of the factory warranty. I'm betting my car won't need expensive repairs. If it does not, I win. If an expensive repair becomes necessary I lose. I'll take that risk.

Is the warranty transferrable? If you cancel, do you get a pro-rated amount returned? Also, do you plan on having it for 8 years/100K? I flip through cars quite often, with my latest A4 being the longest that I've owned and it's on the way out after 6 great years. I'd consider where you'll be with the car at the 4 year mark.

Take it....make sure its the platinum...don't take anything less than the best....you will use it for sure....my door handles went out twice on one side, $700 for each hit...covered by warranty. also had an leak in the transmission, $1800, covered by warranty.. Plus I got another car while the repairs are being made, covered by warranty...you get the picture....it adds up. So invest now for a better "covered" future.
