Default ACC and TDI

I am looking for a Q7 with the TDI and the assisted cruise control. I previously assumed a 2013-2015 TDI Prestige would have this. Am I correct?
Was this part of a driver assistance package?

I currently have a 2014 A6 TDI Prestige and I love it. I've had it for 1.5 years and have already put 35,000 miles on with no problems.

It's an option on Plus and Prestige on those years and fairly rare in 2015. At least in the US. Took me quite a while for me to find my 2014 with ACC.

Most 2015's don't have it. I think it was only available on the limited production Sport Edition units. My November 2014 build date '15 Prestige did not have it available for love or money (my dealer asked up through AOA and Audi HQ in Germany and they said no, regardless of price). Otherwise, the Prestige trim had it standard starting in 2013 or thereabouts. I know some later 2015s had it (at least one member here has/had one).

I have it on my 2015 TDI Q7. I will never buy another car without it.

My 14 Prestige has it as-well. Just not a heavily selected option during initial order, much like air suspension and B&O. They're out there, but you'll have to do some investigation to find it (looking at lots of pictures and self identifying options!) Road trips are so much better with it! Stop and Go with the traffic ACC, I believe is debatable but not open road ACC.

aggressive metro traffic its not good enough, its too passive and you'll be stoping too late since it dont see cascading brake lights like you can, and then getting cut off alot and having to over-ride it trying to restore space.

however, if stop and go traffic is single lane or not a herd of sheep trying to get to work or home.. like construction or congestion in outside of large metros it works reasonably well honestly.. and of course on open roads its amazing.

You get different drivers in different places, I cant stand ACC in Denver Metro traffic.. but in yellowstone summer traffic post solar eclipse, it was ****ing fantastic.. I gotta look out the windows for once and enjoy the scenery instead of keeping my eyes on the mile of brake lights infront of me.

I had ACC on my last Q7 2007 V8 and really miss that feature. Never had any issues with it.
