Adaptive air suspension
 

Hi,
I purchased a used 2007 Q7 3.6 Premium. It does not have the Adaptive Air Suspension. Was it optional or standard?

Your unit either has it or it does not. You can look and see if your struts are air bags or coil overs (correct me if I'm wrong).
If they are air bags, you can go to MMI (car) and you will see adjustments.

Thanks, but how do i check if the struts are airbags or coil overs? I'm not a technical guy, so any advice would be appreciated.

Look underneath. If you see this you have air suspension.

I really like the AAS in my 09 Q7 and here's a great doc which describes in detail how the system is setup and all the components involved
