Adding AdBlue (DEF) to the Q7
Has anyone figured out an "easy" way to burp air from the AdBlue system during a refill? I cannot really tell if the DEF tanks are full each time I refill since it seems to be hit or miss whether I hear the fluid drain into the main tank. So while the funnel starts to overflow as I'm pouring and it would appear that I've filled the system, I'm thinking this is just the overflow tank being filled and not the main tank. You can hear it loud and clear when the fluid trickles from one tank to the other.
I've read that the dealers can burp it when they refill with some tool/process, but can't find what that is. I read about the suggestion to park uphill, but are there other methods that have been discovered?
Thanks for any help.

I did a quick search and came up with this site,

Thanks. I had read through that previously, but was looking for additional tips or something more reliable to ensure that when you pour in a jug, that you are indeed filling the entire system.

Well if anyone ever finds this thread, I just waited a day and let my wife do her thing, and the next evening I was able to dump 2 more gallons into the tank, and this time I could hear it draining down into the main reservoir until it was (presumably) full.

Fill it while parked on a slight incline (a slight decline has worked for me as well). Once I get an initial amount in the primary filling section, I sometimes have to bump the car enough to slosh the AdBlue around. Once the "burp" occurs, it's fast filling from there.
