Default MMI Issue

Yesterday, the MMI on our 07 Q7 decided to stop working. Screen just went black. If you hit either power button (console or dash), the "MMI Screen" comes on for about 3 seconds, then it goes black again. This is with the car running and turned off.

Is there a reset procedure? Anything else I can try?

Thanks

The reason it's doing that is because there is a break in the loop of all the components. Amp, phone, nav, etc. there all connected in an optic loop. The system has to verify all befor it turns on. I bet your sun roof leaked on the amp like a bunch on the fourm. Check around on the fourm. mOST bus is what it's called.

You can try to reset it. The way to reset is on the fourm.

Could also be due to water leak into electronics i.e.: Bose AMP in rear right housing
