Default Audi 2017 Q7 elevation indicator?

Hello

I have an Audi 2017 Q7. Unless I am imagining it, I am fairly certain that I have seen my Audi cockpit display show the elevation (height in feet above sea level). I think it was on the left hand side of the cockpit display, above the gauge showing RPMs (I have the left side RPM and right side speedometer circular gauges set to display in the small mode...not full size mode) where I usually see the date (although I know that the date display here is user configurable...I can have it display current mpg, distance since reset, and a few other things, including leaving the area blank). It was when the round think I saw it when I was starting up the car, or possibly when I was parking it and turning it off...but I can't seem to figure out how to get it to display on a regular basis.

I have looked through the manuals and tried to find a setting for showing elevation and I don't see anything...I have also tried googling it...but no luck.

Has anyone else seen this and do you know how to get it to display on a regular basis?

thanks

On my S5, it shows up on the bottom-right corner of the center MMI screen. It's under a little icon of a mountain range. I've never seen it in the virtual cockpit display.

Thanks...you are right...it comes from the navigation page next to the little mountain icon. It appears on the MMI screen. It will also appear in the virtual cockpit display panel in the bottom toward the left if you are in navigation mode...that must have been what I saw. Thanks!

Yes, you’re right about it showing up on the VC in map mode. I completely forgot about that because I rarely use it.

Yes, mine too. Elevation. Pretty cool.
