Default Audi S5,RS5,RS6 seat swap into Q7

Has anyone transferred these seats into a Q7?

I noticed the Audi Q7 coastline concept has this style so wondered (hoped) if there was a direct swap (same rails, fixing and sockets).

component protection would lock them out and i dont know if there is a way to override it with two different systems (B8 & 4L).

i did this swap in my S5 and it was a pain with the electronics. everything was thrown into CP and the only way to resolve it is to connect to the mother ship in HQ and synch the new hardware with the software. i do not believe the system will allow that across platforms.

You would have a lot more luck retrofitting ROW S-Line Sport seats.

you may get an airbag warning light and if so you would have to create a jumper to disable the light but i would much rather have the nappa s-line seats offered in the EU than any seat offered in the US. along with the fully wrapped v12 dashboard.

Yeah I have the nappa sline seats and they are nice and do the job, but feel they are dated (the design is nearly 9 years old?). I wondered if I could spice the interior up with these seats like the coastline concept. I obviously don't want to ruin the car, but enhance it... So purely wondered if it had been done 'easily'
