Default Battery disconnect option?

I'm having issues with gremlins in my Q. Cannot reset MMI, 1-touch up won't work on driver's window and voice commands don't always work. So I thought disconnecting the battery and reconnecting might clear some of the bugs out but it appears to be almost a two hour job to get at the terminals. Is there another way to disconnect power?

Don't disconnect the battery, it could lead to other issues within the electronics of the vehicle. Cars nowadays are so advanced that they need a constant source of power to keep the computer systems in check. Try running a scan on the Q7 for fault codes and go from there.

you can disconnect the negative ground cable in about 15 seconds, it is under a small cover on the right side floor at the base of the drivers seat. You would have to reset many things with a vagcom if you disconnect this.
