Default Wheel Spacers...

I am thinking of going with 18mm front & 23mm rear with the stock 21" s-line wheels... Any issues with wheel shake or steering wheel vibration with the h&r dr spacers? Anyone on here have photos?

For anyone who installed spacers with the extended bolts... Please check your wheel bolts after a hundred miles or so (the paperwork states 60 miles)... I recently went over the vehicle for quick maintenance, air pressure, fluids, etc before we leave for a road trip and almost every wheel bolt was loose by a full turn or half turn. Originally installed the wheel bolts with impact gun and torqued to spec afterwards but for some reason they still came loose a bit. Hopefully this isn't something that needs to be done every few hundred miles or so but other than that so far no complaints and many compliments from others.

i wound up doing 18mm front and 23mm rear... if i were to do it over again i would do 20mm front and 28mm rear but it isn't worth it to spend the money all over again for a minimal gain in offset.

i did not and have not had any issues with wheel bolts getting loose. after i torqued them down the last time they have remained tight. i checked them before my last road trip and after. any spacer over 8mm would require new extended bolts. make sure you purchase the correct bolts which are the appropriate length and seat type.

if you purchase the hubcentric spacers which are made for these vehicles (along with the cayene and touareg) you should not experience any issues with vibratoin or wheel shake or the like.

the increase in spacing noticeably improves the looks and is something that should be done if you like that kind of look... audi oem offsets and fitments are very conservative from the factory and you have plenty of options to explore when adjusting.

additionally i decided to lower the vehicle 10mm front and 15mm rear. i did all of these things together and got an alignment afterwards. i would recommend that for anyone who lowers the vehicle (generally speaking you do not have to align again if you spacers alone).

I am looking to go the same way (18/23 mm) with the wheel spacers. I can't figure out what the standard wheel bolt length is so I can add the thickness of the spacers to get new bolts. What length of bolts did you end up getting with your spacers? Did you get them from Achtuning?
