Cannot get 2007 Q7 hood to open
I am a new user to the forum but have gotten help from other post in the forum. I have a 2007 Q7 and try to open the hood which I have done numerous time, but this time it seem as though something broke. On the inside the plastic lever is loose but the hood is not open. Can anyone help me with this issue? Thanks again.

You may have to try and reach it from the bottom side (pull the under body pan off), I haven't looked at the release mechanism very closely to see how hard it is to do. If the lever is loose on the inside, I'd guess the cable slipped or broke.

I did that but still could not get to it. A mechanic friend told me to bring it by tomorrow. I will post what he does.

The hood latch release where you pull to open the hood was broken. When we took it apart the plastic piece where the wire clips into was broken. Audi did not have it in stock, had to order it. I was able to pull the wire to open the hood, therefore I am good until the part arrive.
