Default Coolant leak Audi 07 Q7 4.2 104k

Hello group I have been having this leak going on for about a week or 2 now. It appears as if it's leaving from above the oil pan in the front if your under the truck. Can anyone who has had a leak in this area give some ideas or common places to look

We just had to have ours towed, leak in a return pipe or something similar underneath the supercharger and its being replaced. It caused a belt to slip and lost steering. A lot of labor to repair this it seems. We have an 11 Q7 s line w/about the same miles. It may be something altogether different than your issue though.

Mine had a leak on the water pump in the front of the engine. Replacing the pump took 1/2 hour max. + filling and bleeding the system.
I think it's quite common with leaking waterpump on Q7.

I have a leak in what appears to be the hose next to the tensioner pulley. Anyone experienced this?

Default Oil Cooler and alternator are both liquid cooled

Last year thread, just replying for those experiencing:

Since both the Oil Cooler and alternator are liquid cooled and have O-ring seals, these would be suspect. Both are near the tensioner pulley. Gotta love the engineering!
